While City Manager Tim Bolduc told the council that Benchmark officials still are not ready to announce the tenants of the Commons, he noted that major clearing work recently began. A family tragedy inspired Josh and Tiff Moen of Hub City Skate to help get the Crestview's skate park off the ground as a safe refuge for kids.

The new skate park's grand opening will feature food, raffles and skating exhibitions, and the facility will open daily from dawn to 11 p.m.
