It’s a tall order, but a group of brothers and friends are looking to bring the “greatest of all taverns” — or GOAT, for short — to Stockertown.

Nick’s Bistro & Pizzeria opened Nov. 13 at 7525 Tilghman St. in Upper Macungie Township. Owner Greg Rhoads also operates a Rita's Italian Ice franchise out of the space.

The GOAT Pub & Pie, featuring high-quality tavern fare with a focus on Detroit-style pizza, is set to open within the next few months at 700 Main St. in Stockertown.
