SEATTLE, Wash. — The Seattle Mariners announced on Friday that they will be parting ways with their offensive coordinator and bench coach Brant Brown.
The Angels pitching staff was full of players who declined from 2022 to 2023, so Minasian is hoping that new pitching coaches Barry Enright and Steve Karsay can help them return to form in 2024.
The move would help fill out a key piece of Angels manager Ron Washington’s staff.
Karsay, who pitched parts of 11 seasons in the majors, also served as the Milwaukee Brewers’ bullpen coach for three seasons.
Enright spent the past two years as the Arizona Diamondbacks’ assistant pitching coach. Laker was the Dodgers’ minor-league hitting coordinator last year.
