A new law to jumpstart fracking in state parks and label natural gas "green energy" is heading to the desk of Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine after being passed by the Ohio Senate and House. A spokesman said the governor hasn't yet taken a position.
Last-minute changes to a poultry bill would label natural gas as "green" energy and require fracking under state-owned land and parks.
The bill would let teenagers work until 9 p.m. all year long providing they get parental consent.
"The community means a lot to us because this is kind of where we started," said Chad Dawson, director of operations for Pizza Cottage.
Last week Republican members used a measure tied to retail poultry purchases to expand oil and gas drilling on public lands.
