Fugitive arrested in Dulac after high-speed chase, police say A wanted fugitive was arrested early Tuesday morning in Terrebonne after police said he led deputies on a high-speed chase in a stolen car.   Michael King, 28, of New Iberia, is charged with aggravated flight, resisting an officer, theft of a motor vehicle and a series of traffic violations, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office said. Grand jury indicts Houma man in fatal apartment shooting A Houma man has been indicted in connection with a fatal shooting at an apartment complex in December.  A grand jury found enough evidence Thursday to charge Joseph Simmons III, 28, with second-degree murder.
