Udengs Eradiri, the Labour Party's candidate in the Bayelsa State governorship election, has lost his polling unit to the incumbent governor, Douye Diri. Diri, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, scored the most votes in the LP candidate's Unit 05, Ward 10, Yenagoa Local Government Area (LGA). Diri received 130 votes, while Udengs received eight votes. In the same polling unit, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Timipre Silva gathered 45 votes.
