Caitlin knute is in raleigh with the story. Caitlin we have been checking for reports of damage or flooding and it appears to be winding down. Earlier it was a different story. At one point there were hundreds without power in durham and raleigh after wind brought down limbs on power lines and drivers were forced to dodge deep the real damage was to the west. Davidson county was hardest hit after gusts up to 50 miles an hour knocked down trees and destroyed homes. No one was hurt. Folks in charlotte have cleanup. Check out this video. Lines.
