>> maybe, just maybe new hampshire will be a race, will be competitive. does not seem likely, though, iowa will and part of that is yauz how popular donald trump is with evangelicals there. i know you've done some reporting on exactly that. tell us what you've learned and why their support for him seems to have only grown in the last eight years or so despite the litany of things that he has said and done. >> well, the evangelical supporters i've chatted with in iowa say that the support has grown because he's kept his promises to them, most chiefly on roe v. wade and overturning that. he appointed those three conservative justices during his administration, and that led to the overturning of roe v. wade in 2022, so they point to that. they also point to the u.s. embassy in israel moving from tel aviv to jerusalem and tout that as a big win for the former president as well. that being said, though, there has been some discontent with some evangelical voters in iowa.
