Ultimate Athlete Demo Day at Mount Drury draws large crowd keen to have a go

Ultimate Athlete, New Zealand s newest obstacle course event, is coming to Mount Maunganui in June and the local community got a taster at a Demo Day over the weekend.
The Ultimate Athlete Obstacle Course Race for individuals, teams and children will be held at Mount Maunganui Main Beach on June 11 and 12.

New Zealand s newest obstacle racecourse is coming to Mount Maunganui next year, promising to bring as much fun as there will be sweat. Mount Maunganui Beach will host the Ultimate Athlete for individuals, teams and children on April 16 and 17.
There will be two courses: a 6km course with 20 obstacles and a 10km course with 25 obstacles.
The event will premier at Mount Maunganui and has spots for 3000 people in its first year. Ticket sales went live last week.
