New research from a UK charity has found that lung rehabilitation programmes have been cancelled throughout the Covid-19 pandemic despite an expected rise in respiratory complications as a result of the virus. The survey of UK patients and carers, conducted by the Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust, reports that the cancellation of treatments has affected more than one third (82.9 per cent) of pulmonary fibrosis patients.
