Scots Run-Rule Knox for Season Sweep
MONMOUTH, ILL. (04/11/2023) The Monmouth College baseball team walked-off Knox 12-2 on the mercy rule Tuesday with a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh. The Fighting Scots (9-14, 4-7) swept the season series against the Prairie Fire and have won two games in a row overall. Knox hit a solo homer in the first inning against Tim McNally (Paw Paw, Illinois) and pushed the lead to 2-0 with a run in the second. Monmouth got the bats going in the bottom of the second.
