On lucrative waterfront property, Congregation Rodeph Sholom is selling half its land for a high-rise. Some are not happy with the plan.
After much debate, Tampa City Council members approved a local business' flag expansion proposal after denial from the city's variance review board.
The proposed development would have been located near a rural Kathleen farm that's over 100 years old.
The subdivision was denied on a 4-3 vote in June by the Polk Planning Commission. The applicant reduced the project by 8 homes for Tuesday's hearing.
