While still a teenager, I came to study in yeshiva in New York, as my family lived in Israel. Being without family during the most family-oriented holiday of the year Passover had its advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, I had to scramble to find a place that would host me for the holiday. On the other hand, I got to spend the holiday with different people who graciously shared their family Seder with me. It was especially meaningful when I got to spend the holiday with some of American Jewry’s most distinguished and senior rabbis Rabbi Aha ....
