Presque Isle: North Pier Light evolves as a beacon for ship navigation
A 7-mile peninsula juts out into Lake Erie from the city of Erie, forming a magnificent natural harbor called Presque Isle Bay. Today, two active lighthouses protect the ships plying Lake Erie.
