Austin Head, an activist in the LGBTQ community and local progressive politics in Phoenix, died unexpectedly on April 8 at his home in Hollywood, California. He was 37. Head was born on Dec. 11, 1983, in Phoenix to Jo Ramsey and Bill Head. He was a strong advocate for those in the HIV and the LGBTQ communities.
