there have been protests over the country, they were largely peaceful. as some states move to restrict abortion rights, some are moving to protect access and funding. some major companies are pledging to provide support. there are questions this morning about the future of other court-determined rights. the consenting opinion from clarence thomas calls for the court to reconsider precedence on contraception and same-sex marriage. we have cnn justice correspondent jessica snyder. how are things at the court this morning? reporter: they re actually pretty quiet this morning, but we ve seen protests all weekend long. we re expecting more later this morning. the supreme court is set to issue opinions again at 10:00 a.m. we have already seen this court issue its most monumental decision on friday, overturning roe v. wade but there s still a lot to come. we have seven opinions left to come this term. it s a term we expect to wrap up this week. but the court will still be issuin
are you going to hold them to account to protect the lives and not just the births of these children and the families who support them? of course. the pro-life movement s care for women and children doesn t stop after birth, which is why the pregnancy center movement i was talking about oftentimes the first thing they re doing for women is helping them to sign for medicaid, for wic, for c.h.i.p., for these existing public programs out there to help them get off their feet. they go further by training moms and dads, job training, to help them get long-term economic to help them get on their feet economically. but we re not we are open to all policy opportunities and are not taking anything off the table. already we ve seen at the federal level senator kramer, senator deans, senator rubio has put together an entire program that would include expanding wic, that includes paid family
called bookbanbusters.com. you can go there and see the books that are banned, the books that are considered being banned in your area or all over the nation. and more importantly, and i think this is the key thing, bianna, we are training moms to do something about it, counter this, to equip themselves with information. we have what we call trouble an online training which is how to make good trouble. in the spirit of john lewis, how to go out and make a difference at a grassroots level. i think that s where we can gain control and help in this area. given, as you describe this, as a grassroots program, an organic program to talk to moms and to teach them how to respond, to counter what they re hearing at school board meetings across the country, do you get a sense that there is surprise that this topic is as divisive
