Vaccines administered in Tooele County ♦ The Tooele County Health Department vaccinated some of their employees Tuesday. Vaccinations for members of the community will be available soon. It was the morning of Christmas Eve when Transcript Bulletin associate publisher Clayton Dunn, controller Bruce Dunn and editor Tim Gillie pulled up to Gibb’s family home in Tooele City. After ringing the doorbell, the door opened and they were met in the front yard of the home by Jared Gibbs, 44, his son, Jaceton and daughter, Dreya, both 17. The Tooele Transcript Benefit Fund is still accepting donations to help the Gibbs family. The Gibbs lost their mother, Trisha, to COVID-19 on Dec. 6. Trisha was the primary caregiver for her son, Cayden, 20. Cayden is in a wheelchair due to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a progressive muscle-wasting disease. Jared, the father, works as a maintenance supervisor in Salt Lake City. The family also has two 17-year old twins, Dreya and Jaceton.
