Archbold wrestlers took part in the 55-team Tri-State Border War tournament at Defiance High School, Thursday Friday, Dec. 29-30. The tournament includes teams from Ohio and Indiana. Napoleon won the championship, scoring 193.5 points. Perkins was second with 174, followed by Findlay, 159.5. The Blue Streaks placed fourth with 158.5, and had four individual place-finishers.
Eastwood had five state qualifiers last year — three graduated and the two who are returning, now senior Gavin Owens and junior Bryce Hesselbart, learned the hard way about the luck of the draw at the state tournament.
