Know this one shooter was in this science building. so o the way things changed after columbine, with an active shooter, law enforcement will immediately rush to that location whereas before they may set up a perimeter. now the job is to get in is and confront the shooter as quick lu as possible. that seems to have happened fine. at the same time, they still have to assume that there could be other shooters. so they are going to continue to search the other building. that means they have 16 other areas to search that comprise of a lot of different rooms. as they bring those people out, it sounds like they are triaging not the people that are hurt, but the people that just the students to a different location and then they will search their b bags. they will search them because they have to assume that this has happened in other locations that a possible second shooter could try to escape now with ....

Certain level to get them out of there. you look for head injuries and profuse bleeding. but really if somebody can talk to you, they can sit there for a a minute while you get the other people out. one great thing about first responders is that they deal day in and day out with accidents and they have good communications with the hospitals. so as they are going through and triaging people, the first responders, they are letting the hospitals know this is what we have and so that they can be prepared for those numbers of people coming. . when they took the wide shot, i haven t seen that many ambulances and fire trucks on a scene in quite awhile. stay with me. pete, let me bring you back in. what do you see when you look at this awful scene? it s how much to tell how ....

Maybe they needed a witness if they didn t know who it was. we got back up there pretty quickly. we got here. i heard sirens in the back ground. there were three, four police cars here already. not a whole lot. they were still going into the building. people were still exiting. and as emily said even the whole theater they were exiting in a pretty orderly manner. a few people were being carried out that were injured. we had two ambulances here. so i went to that scene. and we started triaging them and transporting them. but it was tremendous to see all of the local law enforcement arriving en masse and suiting up with assault rifles that were scary to see in your own community. but they had such a professionalism and determination about them that it was really really a comforting thing. the fact that people weren t screaming and panicking and helping each other out, was a little bit comforting as well. as emily said it speak a lot to the community that they is that people were helpin ....
