West Central Wireless announced it 'has entered into a transaction with Verizon that will result in us discontinuing our mobile and fixed wireless operations.'
'We've yet to see the arrival of that final killer application for 5G,' said Grant Spellmeyer of UScellular, which counts around 5 million customers across 21 states. 'We continue to believe it's coming.'
