ROBSTOWN, Texas â Pastor Adan Rubio and his father have led their church Templo Maranatha in Robstown for 43 years.
He told the Troubleshooters that the church roof was damaged by Hurricane Harvey in 2017, and it took three years before the church got the insurance money to get a new one.
So, in August 2020, they hired Brooks Steel Fabrication to put a new roof on the church building at a cost of $16,500.00, paperwork shows.
We re better off because he replaced the whole roof, you understand? But there are things he didn t finish,â the Pastor said. ....

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - After about a month of trying to get her landlord to repair damages caused by erratic gunfire in her neighborhood, a Cleveland woman reached out to 19 News for help.
She said she’s tried multiple times to get management to make the repairs.
“Enough is enough. I want a window,” said Cozzetta Clemons. “I pay my rent on time. I can’t get a window? And plug in those bullet holes in my house.” ....
