Midway, AR. - A 29-year-old female individual from Midway has been arrested on a Class Y Charge for trafficking fentanyl. This arrest began with the Arkansas State Police meeting with an unnamed informant and the 14th Judicial Task Force. The talk was on making a purchase of fentanyl from a known dealer within the area. A recording device was fitted onto the informant, and they met with Trystina Meadows, who supplied the informant with a bit over 2 grams of fentanyl. Thirty-year-old Tommy Dwight Gattis was given three years in prison. He was first booked into the Baxter County Detention Center on Dec. 4 last year and rearrested a few days later on additional drug charges.
