NH students collect over 1,000 pairs of shoes for foster care kids
DOVER — With sights set on aiding New Hampshire’s foster home children, two self-proclaimed “sneakerheads” from Rye spearheaded a successful shoe drive within their school. Friends and Wallis Road neighbors since they were 5 years old, St. Thomas Aquinas High School freshmen Jackson Jones and Cade Murphy helped gather gently used shoes of all kinds and sizes to benefit the Pass Along Project, a New Hampshire-based group dedicated to supporting children with essential items as they transition into foster care.
