It’s been a long and winding road to a signed memorandum of understanding between the Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum board and its nonprofit fundraising organization, the Gatchell Museum Association board.
Johnson County Attorney Tucker Ruby brought an agreement before the county commission to ask for thei approval and acceptance. During the commission's last meeting, Ruby said that the agreement was between the county and Volunteers of America (VOA) for them to provide services to the county.
