Letter: Don’t lift ban on ice motorcycle racing Published: 2/19/2021 12:01:19 AM I am not in favor of lifting the ban on ice motorcycle racing on Hoit Road Marsh, Turee Pond, or elsewhere. The noise from these machines, even when all the windows are closed, still can be heard in the house. I live a few miles from Turee Pond. The noise level is such that it interferes with a person’s ability to concentrate, be it reading, studying, or work.
