'Waste of time': Council flips on controversial turtle fence
Sunshine Coast Council has come under fire for changing tactics for a third time, after a meeting was held to discuss the controversial Shelly Beach fence renewal project. A fence with a black shadecloth was installed at the William St entrance of the beach late last year to block out the light pollution which affected turtles trying to nest and hatch.
