The Gaston Gazette Four months after quashing a similar request, Gaston County commissioners approved a revised rezoning request last week that will pave the way for a 315-home subdivision on Forbes Road. Commissioners unanimously approved developer DR Horton's request to rezone a 163-acre parcel of currently vacant land in southern Gaston County that would allow a new subdivision. The board's action followed approval of the plan by the Gaston County Planning Board on Jan. 11.
