May 7, 2021 Despite “being close a couple of times,” according to general manager Jon Robinson, the Tennessee Titans did not address one of their biggest needs at an offensive skill position in the 2021 NFL Draft. They added a pair of wide receivers on the third day with the selections of Dez Fitzpatrick (Louisville) in the fourth round, and Racey McMath (LSU) in the sixth round. However, they stood pat, at least for the time being, with players they currently have in the tight end room. It was expected that the Titans would add a tight end at some point in the draft after Jonnu Smith, ...

Marcus from Jacksonville Whether you like all the picks or not, it is encouraging to see such a clear direction with the overall draft class. I can't remember a time when you could look at the entire class and see the big picture. Whether that leads to long-term success is still to be determined, but it is encouraging to see forward progress in a particular direction. Head Coach Urban Meyer has a vision, and it is clear in the way they used their draft picks. Now, let's hope that vision turns into wins! I have received multiple versions of this question since the Jaguars selected Georgia cornerback Tyson Campbell with the No. 33 overall selection in the 2021 NFL Draft, the first selection of Round 2. While I suppose I understand people believing the selection said something about the Jaguars' feelings regarding Henderson, and while a few local media quickly jumped to the same conclusion, adding Griffin and Campbell...

Urban Meyer is concerned. The Jacksonville Jaguars tight end room has been a focus of repair since Meyer was hired as head coach in January. It was reportedly a focus during free agency, then again during the NFL Draft. The Jags came away with a tight end in both of those scenarios, Chris Manhertz and Luke Farrell. Both are blocking tight ends. They join a room that includes two guys coming off their rookie season—Ben Ellefson and Tyler Davis—who caught a combined one reception. Along with veteran James O’Shaughnessy who has always been a part of the passing game, albeit in a small ro...
