Could the 14 series be the iPhones to finally ditch the Lightning port? Regardless of whether the nearly imminent flagship smartphones really adopting USB ports or not, a research group claims to have found that people are very interested in knowing about the possibility. Searches along the lines of "USB iPhone" have tripled in volume over the last 5 years, with some spiking in conjunction with iPhone launches.
