BENGALURU: All 435 students of the post-graduate programme in management (PGP) Class of 2019-21 at IIM Bangalore who appeared for interviews were successfully placed, the institute announced on Monday.“Our students have done remarkably well. They have been recruited by reputed companies despite Covid-19 disruptions,” said Professor U Dinesh Kumar, chairperson, career development services, IIM Bangalore.
Tapas Ranjan Pati, manager, Career Development Services, said that foreign companies based in places such as Amsterdam, Dubai and Singapore were among those which made 481 offers in consulting, finance, international trading, and business strategy at the institute.The largest chunk of offers 165 were from consulting c ....

All the graduating students of the state-run Indian Institute of Management (IIM-B) got placement offers from global reputed firms, an official said on Monday.
All the 435 students of the 2019-21 PGP class in our institute got 481 offers and have been placed after campus interviews in which they have done well despite Covid-induced disruptions, said IIM-B career development services chairman U. Dinesh Kumar in a statement here.

Consulting and Product Management domains lead recruitment, according to an IIMB statement on Monday.
Chairperson, Career Development Services, IIMB, Professor U Dinesh Kumar, said: They have been recruited by reputed companies despite COVID-19 disruptions.
Consulting companies made 165offers, with Accenture leading with 45, followed by Bain & Company with24.
Top recruiters included McKinsey & Company (18) and the Boston Consulting Group (13).
Prominent recruiters in the information technology and IT product management domain, who made78offers, included Microsoft (12). ....
