Much more beyond being an elected office having some sort of title. I think the title he cared most about was father, grandfather, brother cousin. His family was so absolutely important to him. I read through his obituary, and it reminds me to some extent of how i felt after i wrote and read my fathers own obituary in that its a wonderfulm but it doesnt come close to really saying who this man was.
