Peter Keeble February 1, 2021 Last Friday, Jan. 29, I attended a meeting of the City of Rehoboth Planning Commission as they evaluated Clear Space Theatre’s proposed new building.  They have been assessing this application for two-and-a-half-years and, perhaps not unexpectedly, nothing new came up on Friday. I understand the commission meets again next week, and may I respectfully urge them to make a decision one way or the other. February 2, 2021 Giles named new beach patrol captain Rehoboth Beach announced Jan. 28 that Jeffrey Giles, a 30-year veteran of the Delaware State Police, has been named as the new beach patrol captain. Giles, a Delaware native, held several DSP leadership positions, including supervising the maritime and scuba units.
