Shoppers may see some of their favourite brands disappear from their local high street this weekend as a busy month of store closures continues.

Boots has announced a series of closures across the UK in a major dent to the British high street.

House of Fraser will lose yet another one of its branches in a matter of days, marking the ninth one this year. It comes after months of widespread retail closures leaving store-fronts empty on UK high streets.

A range of major UK retailers will shut selected high-street branches in August following months of closures. Argos, B&M and Boots are among those saying goodbye to brick-and-mortar stores.

The high street is changing indefinitely as many popular stores are closing across the country. M&S, Paperchase and Argos are major retailers making big cuts.
