COVID study: UK COVID-19 variant could be twice as deadly, says study: The implications of the new research, explained

The B.1.1.7 variant includes a number of mutations on the spike protein of the virus like N501Y, D614G, A570D, P681H, H69/V70 deletion and Y144 deletion
