School District 230 was recognized with four "Those Who Excel Awards" - two in the team category, one volunteer and one in the educator category. Recipients will receive their awards at the 50th annual Illinois State Board of Education Awards ceremony for the work they do to support and positively impact the students at Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew High Schools.
Andrew students partner for Pickleball Paddle Project Woodworking students at Victor J. Andrew High School in Tinley Park partnered with students in the school’s Ultima Program for students with specialized learning needs on a Pickleball Paddle Project, an effort that helped build connections between the students and allowing them to teach and learn from each other, according to a news release .
