Letters: Naomh Éanna ferry story brought back memories of a stormy crossing to the Aarn Islands
I just read on Lorna Siggins’ article (‘Bow of Aran Island ferry salvaged as campaign to save historic ship fails’, Irish Independent, February 12) that the old Naomh Éanna ferry has been scrapped – and that Captain Brian Sheridan will be taking delivery of its remains into Galway Port in the coming weeks.
