Dragon quest: RI s dragonflies and damselflies documented in new book

It was a kind of quest, with a cast of characters like the Unicorn Clubtail, Coppery Emerald, Arrowhead Spiketail and Umber Shadowdragon, names straight out of a sword-and-sorcery novel.
But biologist Virginia A. Brown knows that this cast is very real, which is why she spent nearly 10 years researching and cataloging the roughly 140 species of dragonflies and damselflies that roam through the Ocean State. The reward for her quest was Dragonflies and Damselflies of Rhode Island, written by Brown, illustrated by Nina Briggs and published by the Rhode Island Division of Fish and Wildlife. ....
