RAPID CITY, S.D. At its Monday night meeting, the Rapid City Council authorized a number of Public Works Department projects. Among them: Una Del Drive Reconstruction Project: The Council is scheduled to begin taking bids for the Una Del Drive Reconstruction Project. The project includes the full street and utility reconstruction of portions of Una Del Drive and Wildwood Drive. Streets will be installed with asphalt pavement sections widened, gravel shoulders installed and roadside ditches for drainage constructed. Existing water mains will be rebuilt, sanitary sewer mains will be installed and a large diameter water main at the intersection of Sheridan Lake Road and Catron Boulevard will be rebuilt. Cost of the project is estimated at $1.76 million with the project scheduled to start this spring and completed by December. ....
