 The Fenton area lost a local icon Wednesday, April 21 with the death of Robert G. Harris Sr. He was 97 years old.  Harris, a lifelong resident of Fenton, had authored seven books on Fenton’s history. He also wrote the novel, “Many Come, Few Are Chosen,” about the U.S. Marines.  Harris graduated from Fenton High School in 1941. He went on to earn his Ph.D. and was the commencement speaker for the FHS Class of 1972.
