The Larimer County Sheriff's Office received a report April 1 that reported 37-year-old Michael Hester had shot and killed livestock around his property, according to a Tuesday release from the Larimer County Sheriff's Office. Deputies and a crime scene investigator responded to the address in the 13000 block around four miles north of Masonville where surrounding neighbors told them Hester had allegedly driven a UTV around while shooting at their livestock.
The alleged crimes resulted in over $30,000 in losses
The Sheriff's Office recognized this work during its annual awards ceremony, recognizing an array of incident handlings, experience and decades of service.
