Wing-N-It! Savannah a pop up restaurant cross promotes other eateries

There’s no such thing as perfection, we’re all just pretty much Wing-N-It!, according to owner Wing-N-It Savannah owner Kenneth Rouche.
Rouche and his crew are creating a new wave of catering services and private events with the introduction of pop-up restaurants.
The pop-up restaurant scene is a COVID-friendly alternative to the food truck and catering option that includes a mobile kitchen and a set menu with mostly ala carte options in outside event spaces. The concept also creates a mystery appeal that goes against the grain by popping up at various locations with little to no advertisement.
Since Wing-N-It Savannah’s introduction into the food scene, they have strived to create an experience within their food standards that focuses on customer service, collaboration and entertainment.

Black farmers in Georgia: How COVID pandemic made farming even harder

Most 5-year-olds would have nothing to do with manual labor. A day on their bikes, playing with friends or climbing trees would be more reasonable. But strolling through peanut fields to assist his father, a former sharecropper, gave Joe King an invigorating feeling that hasn’t died.
Having no idea his small frame wasn’t meant to withstand long hours in the sun, King pleaded with his parents to go out into the field.
“I cried to help my momma and my daddy to hoe peanuts,” said King. “They thought it was just a joke. They gave me a little hoe. At the end of the day I was still out there and they were so impressed. That was the beginning of Farmer Joe.”

The Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival returns to Richmond Hill in October

Richmond Hill City Council approved a pair of requests from the Richmond Hill-Bryan County Chamber of Commerce Tuesday night in regard to the Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival.
Without discussion or questions, council first approved the chamber’s request to use J.F. Gregory Park for the event on Oct. 15-17. Next came approval for it to sell beer and wine.
The fact the requests were being put before council spells good news for the Richmond Hill community and seafood lovers in the Coastal Empire.
The festival (goseafoodfestival.com) has become a staple of the community over the years and it is one of the most popular seafood festivals in the Southeast.
