As a business owner whose talents are on display throughout her store, Martha Perkins takes as much pride in the items she refurbishes and sells as she does in the historic downtown district in which her storefront is located. For several years, Perkins has operated Colonial Treasures Workshop, where she sells refurbished furniture and home décor items while running her business in concert with the Unique Nook gift shop, with both stores located within 310 S. Lafayette St.
