A disaster in the making: Back to school in Detroit, Michigan
Detroit dropped its mask and weekly testing mandate, making it optional last July 1 while class sizes are returning to pre-COVID levels with no social distancing. Teachers have reported that there is a greater emphasis on putting students in groups and to focus on attendance, testing and enrollment.
