'Should have been jailed' - Man who racially abused doctors in Barrow condemned

Bernard Devlin was spared jail for racially-aggravated harassment following an incident outside a hotel in Barrow.
He has been roundly criticised on social media after magistrates sentenced him to a 16-weeks suspended prison sentence.
Paul Jenkins, a north west organiser for Unite Against Facism led the criticism of the defendant, who was said to bitterly regret his actions.
