Anyone who remembers the "Big Red Slide" in Somerset growing up had a pretty awesome childhood, myself being one of them. I recall climbing what felt like a million stairs just to reach the top of the slide and once I did, it was like I was on top of a mountain. Of course, these days, the slide doesn't seem that tall, but that's the fun part about being a kid. The famous slide is no longer with us as it was torn down and taken apart over the past few years so it can be replaced with a newer big red slide.
