Winona Ruritans hold generational dinner | News, Sports, Jobs


WINONA – The Winona Ruritan Club celebrated its annual father/son/grandson/great-grandson dinner Feb. 23.
President Rob Doyle Jr. called the meeting to order and led the singing of “America.” Vice President Homer Althouse gave an update on fellow member Rob Donaldson’s medical condition, reporting he is recuperating at home. A “Get Well” card was later passed around for friends and members to sign.
Althouse gave the invocation and asked everyone to keep Donaldson and his family in their prayers. Mrs. Gordon served a meal featuring meat loaf and mashed potatoes.
Secretary Lee Stamp called the roll of members with 16 being present. Each member introduced his guests for the evening with a total of 28 in attendance. Stamp then read the minutes from the January meeting and February Board of Directors meeting. Treasurer Bob Doyle Sr.’s financial reported was dispensed with for the meeting. ....
