ELKINS The Elkins Lions Club welcomed District Governor John Mason at the Steer Steakhouse Monday.
The District Governor started his speech by sharing the international theme for the year, “United in Kindness and Diversity,” and the District Governor’s theme: “In A World Where You Can be Anything, Be Kind.”
The Elkins Club was privileged to have him recount the story which redefined his perspective on what it means to be a Lion. He shared one of his Santa Claus stories which left a lump in everyone’s throat, about a little girl who climbed in his lap and asked for her father back. ....
