Unity Recovery to open vegan restaurant and coffee house in Northwest Philly in 2022
Unity Recovery will open a vegan restaurant in Manayunk and a coffee shop in Roxborough in first half of 2022. The nonprofit already runs yoga studios and a taqueria. The mission of all of Unity's businesses is to prioritize hiring people confronting drug addiction and mental health issues and those who have re-entered society after being incarcerated ,which founders Robert and Arielle Ashford believe creates recovery-friendly places in the public eye.
