Syracuse Man Steals About $10,000 From Home Depots Using Fake Barcodes

Syracuse, N.Y. - State Police have arrested a Syracuse man for stealing from area Home Depots, 28 times.
Trooper says 37-year-old Jeffrey Gordon created barcodes for lower dollar amounts, and scanned the fake barcodes at the self-checkout, paying the lower prices.
They found that Gordon did this 28 times at various Home Depot stores including, Dewitt, Camillus, Clay, Cicero, Auburn, and Watertown.
The total amount of theft is estimated to be $10,000.

Cortland County Man Points Gun At Kids

McGraw, N.Y. - A Cortland County man has been arrested after pointing a gun at three children.
Police were called to McGraw Elementary school for a domestic investigation. They learned 30-year-old Bronson Marshall pointed a gun at three children while he was at a home in the Village of McGraw.
He was arraigned and released.

CNY Among Lowest Positive COVID-19 Test Rates In NY

New data shows CNY has one of the lowest COVID-19 infection rates in the state.
During the past week, just over one-percent of residents have tested positive for coronavirus, which is below the state average of three-point-six percent. The Southern Tier currently has the lowest infection rate at less than one-percent.

Gov Cuomo Says We Are Seeing The End Of The "COVID Winter", Must Vaccinate

Queens, N.Y. - Governor Cuomo was in Queens today helping to open up another pop-up vaccine center, at the Rochdale Village.
The Governor said he hopes that with spring we are seeing the end of what he called the COVID Winter . He continued to push people to get vaccinated.
Beginning today, curfews gyms, movie theaters, bowling alleys, and casinos are being lifted. Cuomo warned, that there are variants and he said. This virus changes on you, it mutates on you, hundreds of times a week around the world.We have to crush COVID, and we have it on the run. ....
