Professor Emeritus Kate Rowold is a scholar of the social and aesthetic history of fashion. As a Professor in the fashion design program at Indiana University-Bloomington (1979-2019), Rowold directed dozens of graduate students, sponsored more than 60 Individualized Major Program fashion design students, and taught hundreds of undergraduate students studying fashion history and apparel merchandising.
